Chairman of QTSC has received CIO Awards 2011

Ho Chi Minh City, 28th September, 2011: Today, Mr. Chu Tien Dung – Chairman of Quang Trung Software City Development Company Limited (QTSC) has had the honour of CIO Awards 2011 at Sheraton hotel, Hanoi.

Through the speech, Mr. Dung said, "This award is not only my own honor but also the achievement andcontribution of QTSC community, including the important role of the staff of Telecom & Informatics Center andISO Section of QTSC. More importantly, it helps confirm QTSC’s position, brand and prestige; and strengthen customers’ belief in the development of QTSC."

Mr. Chu Tien Dung was one of those who contributed most to start and run Quang Trung Software City successfully. To create an advantage business environment/wastewater to attract investment, provide services for developing Vietnam's software enterprises. QTSC has attracted many investors, leading enterprises engage inbusiness activities and use Quang Trung Software City’s services is provided by QTSC.

Quang Trung Software City was appreciated for successful models in Vietnam by the Government and the international community which has contributing to build the brand and image of Vietnam’s software industry. Mr. Chu Tien Dung was presented Third Labor Medal by the President and certificate of merit by the Prime Minister, and others by Ministry of Information and Communications, Ministry of Planning and Investment, VCCI, HCM City People’s Committee.

Decide to select the technology, services providing models, construction and operation of telecommunicationsnetworks of Quang Trung Software City from 2002 is the other contribution of Mr. Chu Tien Dung in the process of building Quang Trung Software City. This is one important key to create Quang Trung Software City’s success, the basic features of the system is MPLS technology which has provided IP-based services since2002. Quang Trung Software City is also the pioneer of investment and application of cloud computingtechnology to build and provide infrastructure and services for IT application systems (e-government) of Ho Chi Minh City, businesses and community in the future.

Besides, he directly implemented and built information security management system with standard ISO/IEC27001:2005.
