In the afternoon of 05 November 2018, the representative of Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) worked at Quang Trung Software City (QTSC).
At the meeting, Ms. Tran Phuong Nhung, Business Development Manager of Austrade, gave a lot of questions to discuss after QTSC’s brief introduction. Nhung said that the aim of this trip was to visit and work with QTSC to better understand its operation model, development orientation, policies to support enterprises, especially the upcoming plans of QTSC and local enterprises for the Australian market.

In addition, Ms. Pham Thi Kim Phuong, Deputy CEO of QTSC, introduced and shared more information on the preferential policies and activities of QTSC related to one-stop service supporting local businesses on administrative procedures, incentive taxes, QTSC R&D Labs, QTSC Incubator, etc. Phuong also talked about QTSC's development orientation to turn into a smart city model through the application of technological solutions in the management.
Austrade desired to cooperate more with QTSC to update the latest information on Vietnam IT industry, as well as become a bridge for Australian businesses in looking for cooperation and investment opportunities in Vietnam, introducing Vietnamese businesses to Australian ones. Austrade also expected QTSC to be able to invite local businesses to take part in trade promotion programs to Australia, if appropriate.
