In the afternoon of July 18, a high level business delegation from Singapore led by Chairman of Singapore Business Federation (SBF) had a site visit to Quang Trung Software City (QTSC).

“SBF is the apex business chamber that champions the interests of the Singapore business community in trade, investment and industrial relations. It represents 26,000 companies, as well as key local and foreign business chambers that contribute significantly to the Singapore economy,” Mr. Teo Siong Seng, Chairman of SBF said.

SBF’s formation was to foster a more comprehensive organization and representation of the business community’s interests in Singapore and abroad. It is committed to advocating key issues that impact the Singapore business community, helping enterprises develop capabilities and venture overseas.

Including representatives of nearly 40 leading Singaporean companies, the delegation were very interested in the development model of QTSC, research and development projects of QTSC R&D Labs, QTSC chain model, especially IT solutions and applications being used to build smart city in QTSC.

Mr. Lam Nguyen Hai Long – CEO of QTSC introduced more about “home” for start-ups in QTSC including: QTSC Incubator for common start-up companies and QTSC R&D Labs for R&D companies focusing on product research and development. Also, QTSC is calling for cooperation in the fields of hi-tech agriculture, energy efficiency, environment/wastewateral management, biology, as well as technology applications aiming to develop smart city.
