On the January 30, 2018, Quang Trung Software City (QTSC), Investment & Trade Promotion Centre (ITPC) and VNITO Alliance co-organized the Business matching (B2B) session with IT delegation from Fukuoka (Japan) at ITPC’s hall (92-96 Nguyen Hue Street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City).
The B2B session which attracted 37 Vietnamese enterprises and 13 Japanese enterprises, aimed to support IT enterprises in Ho Chi Minh City to access new business information and promote the trade connection with Japanese companies. Coming to Vietnam this time, Japanese companies would like to seek Vietnamese partners primarily in the fields of: Smartphone application development, web systems, cloud computing services, network design and development, human resources consulting and training, medical, sales, distribution, manufacturing, etc.
According to JETRO, Vietnam has become Japan's second largest software outsourcing partner as well as the most favorite partner since 2014, with 23% of their overseas order. Through this trade connection, they desired to cooperate with Vietnamese providers in the field of software outsourcing.
After the B2B, Fukuoka delegation visited Quang Trung Software City then had a meeting with students of FPT University and SaigonTech.
