In order to discuss cooperation opportunities between Daejeon City and Quality Tech Solution Complex (QTSC), a delegation led by Mr. Choi Keun Hwan, Head of Representative Office of Daejeon Business Agency in Ho Chi Minh City, to visit and work at QTSC on August 29.

As an education and science hub of Korea, most of Daejeon sightseeing is related to the field of technology. It has located representative offices in Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Duong Province since 2017.

Participating in the meeting, there were also journalists from The Electronic Times who visited QTSC to interview some questions related to the IT field to exchange cooperation plans between QTSC and Daejeon city. Following that, introducing city leaders as well as businesses in Korea to the investment and cooperation needs in Vietnam in general and Ho Chi Minh City in particular.

Also, the delegation paid special attention to the needs of IT human resources to supply Korean businesses operating in the country and Vietnam. This is a very difficult problem for businesses in recruiting high quality human resources to meet the job demands.

Understanding these difficulties of businesses, Ms. Pham Thi Kim Phuong, Deputy CEO of QTSC shared with the delegation about some issues such as whether businesses should recruit and send local employees abroad for training and working, or invest abroad and recruit local employees, recruitment status of businesses operating at QTSC, the biggest issues IT companies face today, the benefits for employees to choose working in the country or abroad, etc.
