FPT Greenwich Vietnam students explore the working environment and career opportunities at QTSC

On the morning of August 20, 2026, a delegation of 90 third- and fourth-year students majoring in Information Technology and Business Administration from FPT Greenwich Vietnam visited QTSC. The program gave students an opportunity to experience the workplace firsthand, learn more about business operations, and gain valuable insights to support their future career planning.

At the beginning of the program, a university representative shared the visit’s objectives and expressed the hope that students could connect what they had learned with real-world business practices, develop a better understanding of workplace requirements, and prepare more effectively for their future career paths.

Students were then introduced to QTSC’s development journey, digital technology ecosystem, activities promoting science and technology, innovation and digital transformation, as well as its development orientations for the coming years. The presentation provided students with a broader perspective on the technology business community and current trends shaping the digital technology sector.

A key highlight was an interactive sharing session with representatives from Larion and Concentrix. They discussed the current supply of technology talent, recruitment needs, and employers’ expectations of candidates. In addition to professional knowledge, students were encouraged to develop their soft skills, willingness to learn, adaptability, and workplace discipline — essential qualities for meeting employers’ expectations.

The discussion session featured many questions from students about the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on the software industry and their future careers, the possibility of AI replacing certain jobs, and the increasing workforce selection pressures brought about by rapid technological change. Students also exchanged views with company representatives on how to approach and verify AI-generated information to use the technology proactively and effectively in their studies and future work.

Following the sharing session, the students visited Larion and Concentrix, where they explored the companies’ workplaces, operations, and corporate cultures. The visits offered students a more direct perspective on the professional working environment while helping them better understand different job roles and what employers expect in practice.

Through the program, QTSC continued to strengthen connections between educational institutions and the technology business community, giving students opportunities to gain practical experience, better understand workforce needs, and make more informed decisions as they plan and prepare for their careers after graduation.
