Georgetown University EMBA delegation explores innovation ecosystem at QTSC

On the morning of July 29, 2025, QTSC welcomed a delegation of 25 Executive MBA (EMBA) students from Georgetown University (USA), led by Professor Stanley Nollen. The visit was part of the university’s experiential learning program, aimed at exploring Vietnam’s dynamic technology landscape and innovation ecosystem—particularly the operating model of QTSC, which is regarded as the country’s first and most successful concentrated IT park.

At the meeting, the delegation was given an overview of QTSC’s technology ecosystem, including its modern infrastructure, internationally certified data center, and ongoing digital transformation initiatives for enterprises and government agencies. QTSC also shared its vision to become a Quality Tech Solution Complex—that not only gathers tech enterprises but also fosters real-world connections and experimentation of new technology solutions.

In the discussion session, the EMBA students expressed strong interest in Vietnam’s policies supporting tech enterprises—especially tax incentives, investment attraction mechanisms, and startup incubation and development programs. They also paid special attention to issues related to IT workforce quality, the need for soft skills training, and creating favorable conditions for sustainable startup growth.

To conclude the program, the delegation visited the QTSC Museum, which showcases key milestones from the park’s nearly 25-year journey. The visit not only opened up opportunities for international collaboration but also reaffirmed QTSC’s role as a trusted destination for global organizations to explore, connect, and grow.

With a vision to position itself as a smart and green technology city at the forefront of Ho Chi Minh City’s digital transformation and innovation efforts, QTSC remains open to welcoming international delegations for study visits and long-term collaboration.
