In the morning of September 20, the Government Cipher Committee and Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, Department of Information and Communications of Ho Chi Minh City (DIC) came to visit and work at Quang Trung Software City (QTSC).

Welcoming the delegation, Mr. Tran Huu Dung - Chairman of QTSC introduced an overview of the formation and development process of Quang Trung Software City. Mr. Tran Hoang Nam - Head of QTSC Telecom Center shared products and services being implemented to serve the e-government of the city.

Mr. Dang Vu Son, Head of the Government Cipher Committee, said that Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee and the Government Cipher Committee have focused on implementing cryptographic products and information security solutions for the cyber system of HCMC People's Committee aiming to promote and improve the efficiency of IT applications and e-government project. The site visit to QTSC, the location of data center of HCMC’s e-government, was one of the activities in order to evaluate information security solutions for IT systems and applications serving the administration of HCMC People's Committee.

At the meeting, members of the Government Cipher Committee, representatives of the HCMC People's Committee, DIC and QTSC exchanged the information related to their projects as well as contributed useful ideas to ensure the information security for HCMC’s e-government system.

Concluding the meeting, the delegation visited the monitoring center of applications that QTSC has been implementing to turn into a green, smart city such as: the Integrated Operation Centre of Quang Trung Software City (IOC), the environment/wastewateral management and monitoring system that monitors 12 indicators of wastewater; smart public lighting system, smart water meter system, VMS traffic monitoring system using AI technology, BMS system, etc. Finally, they visited the QTSC Telecom Center, where set up the data center system of HCMC’s e-government.
