In the afternoon of March 27, a business delegation of nearly 20 representatives from Korean companies operating in various fields including investment, software outsourcing, mobile application, IT services, etc. visited and learned about operational environment/wastewater in Quang Trung Software City (QTSC).

On the occasion of attending the 9th investment seminar about Vietnamese ICT industry and Startup Ecosystem in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC), the delegation chose QTSC as the first option to catch the overview of Vietnam's IT industry in general and HCMC in particular, thus seeking potential investment and cooperation opportunities, especially in the startup field.

At the meeting, the businesses listened to a brief introduction of QTSC such as its ecosystem, milestones, convenient services, supporting activities, beneficial business environment/wastewater and tax incentive policies for foreign businesses. In addition, with one-stop service, local enterprises could take advantage of free-of-charge consulting services for procedures such as company establishment, investment licenses, import-export services, visa extensions, and so on. Furthermore, QTSC is also a hub of big IT brands at home and abroad, as well as ready to meet the needs of IT infrastructure, constantly expanding and developing the advantage conditions for research, application, incubation, etc.

Following, the business delegation visited the Agriculture Center of Excellence, where they was introduced new technology applications for agriculture based on the internet and cloud computing platform, such as solutions to control mushroom pest and diseases, hydroponic vegetable growing systems, container gardening with led light systems, etc. for the aim to increase crop productivity, reduce costs and contribute to the development of Vietnam agriculture with safe products.
