On October 25, the Open Innovation Day (OID) 2025 officially kicked off at the SoiHub Open Innovation Center, QTSC. The event is an annual initiative supported by the National Agency for Technology Entrepreneurship and Commercialization Development (NATEC) under the Ministry of Science and Technology. OID 2025 is organized by the Open Innovation and Techpreneur Institute (OITI). The program is part of the lead-up activities to the Autumn Economic Forum (HEF) 2025, directed by the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City and coordinated by the Vietnam Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution in Ho Chi Minh city (HCMC C4IR).
With the theme “Technology Breakthroughs – Fostering Green & Digital Transitions”, OID 2025 focused on promoting science, technology, innovation, and the green & digital transition across pioneering sectors, including infrastructure, smart cities, energy transition, new materials, supply chains... The program aimed to build a multidisciplinary platform connecting businesses - localities - startups - academia - experts to jointly address practical development challenges at sectoral, national, and regional levels, while shaping technological trends for a sustainable future.
During the two-day program (October 25-26), OID 2025 brought together leading policymakers, business leaders, and tech experts in eight deep-dive panel sessions - exploring global trends and strategic directions shaping the future of innovation.
Within the framework of the event, the Tech Showcase exhibition offered participants a chance to explore and experience cutting-edge technology solutions developed by startups from the Next Wave of Startups (NWOS) 2025 program and SoiHub members — including Nuoa.io, Buyo, Bytepilot, Dia-Flow, Vizion, and others. Alongside the panel sessions, the business matching program strengthened collaboration and networking among enterprises, investors, and startups. A key highlight of OID 2025 was the announcement of strategic partnerships among members of the OID network - notably the collaboration between QTSC and SoiHub, aimed at fostering the open innovation ecosystem within the park, promoting sustainable development and the circular economy.
With its vision of becoming a green and smart technology city, pioneering digital transformation and innovation in Ho Chi Minh City, QTSC not only serves as a venue for major technology events but also functions as a central hub for connection and collaboration, promoting a dynamic environment where tech enterprises and startups grow together, spreading the spirit of innovation toward a sustainable future.
