On the afternoon of March 3^rd, a delegation including the leader of Department of Information and Communication Technology Industry (Ministry of Information and Communications), and the representative of QTSC Chain Management Council had a visit to survey the Hau Giang Digital Technology Park in order to propose it to participate in QTSC Chain.

Attending the meeting were Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Deputy Director General of Department of ICT Industry, Ms. Ho Thu Anh - Vice Chairwoman of Hau Giang Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Lam Nguyen Hai Long - CEO of QTSC, Standing member of QTSC Chain Management Council, together with representatives of a number of provincial departments.

The delegation worked at the People's Committee of Hau Giang province.

According to the agenda, the representative of Hau Giang Department of Information and Communications presented a draft report proposing the province's Digital Technology Park to participate in QTSC Chain. The project of establishing Hau Giang Digital Technology Park was approved by Decision No. 285/QD-UBND dated February 24^th, 2023. The park is located in Vi Tan commune, Vi Thanh City, Hau Giang province with an estimated research area of 28.5 ha.

Main functions of Hau Giang Digital Technology Park:

• Carrying out IT research - development, application, transfer activities;
• Producing and providing IT products, services;
• Training IT human resources;
• Incubating technology and IT businesses;
• IT trade promotion;
• Organizing fairs, exhibitions, demonstrations of IT products and services;
• Promoting domestic and foreign investment to engage IT activities;
• Providing infrastructure, services and necessary conditions for organizations and businesses operating in the park to perform the above functions and tasks.

According to Ms. Ho Thu Anh, Vice Chairwoman of Hau Giang Provincial People's Committee, the province is very determined to join QTSC Chain. This is one of key goals to promote the development of IT industry in Hau Giang, thereby making an important contribution to the province's socio-economic development.

During the working trip, the delegation also visited the office of Digi-Texx company in Hau Giang province. Digi-Texx is a company specializing in providing comprehensive data processing solutions and services for all types of businesses and organizations.
