From 28 August to 2 September, 2018, Quang Trung Software City (QTSC) in cooperation with VNITO Alliance organized the “VNITO Promotion Campaign to Japan 2018”, with the mission to create opportunities for peer networking and interaction, support Vietnamese IT companies to explore and seek potential partners in Japan, and increase more sustainable relationship with Japanese partners. The delegation included 18 Vietnamese companies from Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi and Danang.
According to Mr. Lam Nguyen Hai Long, CEO of QTSC, President of VNITO Alliance: “In recent years, Vietnam and Japan cooperation has been strongly promoted, especially in Information Technology (IT) when both countries have increased their investment and business to each other. At present, Japan is known as a Vietnam’s dominant economic partner as well as identify Vietnam as the second largest and most impassioned one. This is the reason why, every year, QTSC and VNITO organize the Promotion Campaign in Japan to connect Vietnamese and Japanese companies, tighten the relationship with Japanese partners.
The campaign was organized in 4 cities: Fujisawa, Tokyo, Osaka and Fukuoka. In Fujisawa, VNITO delegation joined the seminar on “Latest economic information in the Mekong region” presented by JETRO, and the networking event among 18 Vietnamese companies and 40 representatives from Japanese IT companies.
