On the morning of January 4, 2022, Chairman of Quang Trung Software City (QTSC) Chain Management Council Mr. Duong Anh Duc chaired an online meeting to summarize QTSC Chain’s activities in 2021, as well as discuss about its development orientations for 2022.

Attending the meeting were Ms. To Thi Thu Huong - Deputy Director General, in charge of the IT Department of the Ministry of Information and Communications, members of QTSC Chain Management Council, and leaders of the following units: Tien Giang Department of Information and Communications, VNPT Tien Giang, Hau Giang Department of Information and Communications, Binh Dinh Department of Information and Communications, Cantho University Software Center and Army Software Park.

At the beginning of the meeting, QTSC’s representative summarized the Chain's activities in 2021. Then, three official members of the Chain (QTSC, ITP and HueCIT) in turn shared the operational results of each unit in 2021. The potential members also presented proposed projects to join the Chain. In addition to the results achieved in 2021, the members also shared difficulties and challenges arising from the impact of Covid-19 pandemic.

Following the program, the members discussed together about QTSC Chain’s activity plan in 2022 - 2023. Accordingly, the Chain will coordinate with the Ministry of Information and Communications to finalize Chain’s legal documents; Editing and publishing "Documents guiding the deployment and management of centralized IT zones," training and sharing experience to units; Implementing a number of activities to research, promote and attract domestic and foreign investment for Chain members; Launching QTSC Chain’s brand identity system, and especially promoting support for potential units to complete the proposed documents joining the Chain so that this model will have 4-5 members from now until the end of the pilot phase in 2023.

In the coming time, the official and expected members of the Chain will share together operational experience, software and technology solutions applying for management and prevention of the Covid-19 pandemic at each locality, as well as actively participate in joint activities in 2022 aiming to support each other's development and achieve the Chain’s common goal soon.
