QTSC conducts fire prevention and rescue drills 2025

Following the fire prevention and rescue awareness session for enterprises within the QTSC campus on July 25, QTSC, in coordination with the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City, conducted fire drills on the morning of August 1, 2025. The exercise was held at three locations: the DigiTech Center, QTSC Building 1, and Helios Building. This drill is part of the annual mandatory plan aimed at enhancing fire safety awareness and improving emergency response readiness.

The drill was conducted based on a simulated fire scenario inside the building. Upon detecting unusual signals, the building's technical team activated the first-stage fire alarm to trigger the warning bell and broadcast reassuring messages to occupants. Meanwhile, the patrol team inspected the area where smoke had been detected. Once the simulated fire was confirmed, the patrol team initiated on-site firefighting procedures. The technical team then activated the second-stage alarm and issued an emergency announcement, urging all tenants and employees to evacuate the building promptly.

Right after, the on-site firefighting team promptly coordinated with relevant units to respond to the situation in accordance with standard procedures. They also assisted the professional Fire Prevention and Rescue Police in accessing the scene and performing firefighting and rescue operations. All stages of the drill were carried out seriously, with safety and effectiveness fully ensured.

Next to the drill plan, QTSC will continue conducting fire drills at six additional buildings: SBI Building, QTSC Building 3, R&D Labs 1, QTSC Building 6A, QTSC Building 8, and QTSC Building 10, scheduled for August 8 and 15, 2025. Through this series of exercises, QTSC is consistently enhancing its internal safety procedures, contributing to the creation of a secure working and learning environment that is well-prepared for any emergency.

In addition to practical drills, QTSC regularly conducts fire prevention and rescue training programs for its on-site firefighting teams to improve awareness, sense of responsibility, and emergency response skills. These programs play a vital role in reinforcing the effectiveness of drills, enabling individuals to thoroughly grasp procedures and coordinate seamlessly in the event of an incident.
