QTSC cooperated with HCA to donate 42 PCs and Laptops to Vinh Long Province
On the morning of August 30th 2020, Quang Trung Software City (QTSC) cooperated with Ho Chi Minh City Computer Association (HCA) to hold the program entitled "Giving computers – Making dreams come true" in Vinh Long Province.
The representatives of the program presented 42 second-hand PCs and Laptops to My Thanh Trung A primary school, My Thanh Trung B primary school, Hoa Hong kindergarten, People's Committee of My Thanh Trung Ward, Tam Binh District, and Hieu Thanh primary school, Hieu Thanh Ward, Vung Liem District.
Those computers were donated by CMC company, Sao Bac Dau, QTSC, Lac Viet, Hitachi Vantara Vietnam, TMA, Harvey Nash, Ingreetech, and Shinhan Bank Vietnam. The charity’s purpose was to provide technology equipment for students to take full advantage of the opportunity for approaching and updating the knowledge of computer science, as well as help teachers in the areas with difficult socio-economic conditions to improve teaching quality.
Attending the program, Mr. Lam Nguyen Hai Long – CEO of QTSC, Chairman of HCA; Mr. Vu Anh Tuan – General Secretary of HCA, together with the representatives of Vinh Long province including Ms. Doan Hong Hanh – Director of Department of Information and Communications of Vinh Long Province; Mr. Le Hoang An – Party Committee Secretary of My Thanh Trung Ward; Mr. Le Thanh Tien – Chairman of People's Committee of My Thanh Trung Ward; Mr. Le Vinh An – Chairman of People's Committee of Hieu Thanh Ward; the delegation of Hieu Thanh primary school; and IT enterprises’ representatives visited and donated computers for schools.
We are looking forward to enterprises' companion and contribution with new and old computers, financial contributions, scholarships, training courses so that QTSC can continue carrying out practical and meaningful activities for the community.
