With nearly 25 years of development across a total area of 43 hectares, QTSC is home to more than 120 IT enterprises and over 21,000 people working and studying. Since 2016, QTSC has proactively implemented initiatives to promote “dual transformation” — including digital transformation and green transformation. This strategic direction responds to global trends in the circular economy, emissions reduction, and sustainable development, while enhancing QTSC’s competitiveness in attracting investment. Dual transformation enables QTSC to simultaneously address governance and operational challenges while gradually shaping a green and smart city model. As part of its digital transformation efforts, QTSC has intensified strategic realignment, standardized operational processes, and deployed a wide range of technological solutions, including a GIS-based infrastructure management system, document storage and management platforms, smart surveillance cameras, integrated operation center... |
|
These solutions have significantly enhanced improved efficiency and resource optimization, delivering measurable outcomes such as a 30% reduction in storage costs, 35% energy savings, and a 15% decrease in operational manpower. |

In parallel, QTSC has implemented green transformation initiatives aimed at minimizing environmental impacts within the park. With green spaces accounting for over 8% of its total area - a remarkably high proportion compared to other technology parks in Vietnam - QTSC boasts an expansive green landscape that is carefully maintained and preserved as a core value of the park. This greenery not only contributes to a clean and healthy landscape but also fosters an ideal working environment for scientific research and innovation. This distinctive advantage strengthens QTSC’s position as an attractive destination for the IT business community.
QTSC regularly launches initiatives to expand green coverage, improve landscape maintenance, and conduct training sessions for investors and enterprises on greenhouse gas inventories and environmental awareness. At the same time, the park actively promotes green solutions, including the installation of solar-powered lighting systems, the use of high-efficiency energy-saving equipment, and the cultivation of “green habits” in daily operations. These practices include reducing single-use plastic bottles, shifting to glass bottles and paper straws for internal meetings and official events, and prioritizing the selection of environmentally friendly products.
Notably, since 2016, QTSC has digitized its entire infrastructure management system through a GIS platform, including comprehensive tree data. This digitization enhances management and monitoring capabilities, enabling accurate identification of each tree’s location, species, age, growth condition, and maintenance history. By standardizing data on the GIS platform, QTSC has become more proactive in maintenance planning and landscape improvement. Building on these efforts, QTSC is currently implementing the Youth Project “QR-coded tree labeling at QTSC integrated with the GIS platform,” which further modernizes green-space management and promotes technology adoption in campus-wide environmental infrastructure.
QTSC also deploys technological systems to enable early detection of environmental issues and timely response, including automated air and groundwater monitoring systems, wastewater treatment systems oriented towards the reuse of treated effluent for irrigation, and automated water supply operation and monitoring systems. Importantly, all environmental data is transmitted in real time to the Center for Natural Resources and Environment Monitoring (under Ho Chi Minh City’s Department of Agriculture and Environment), strengthening environmental management and oversight in compliance with Vietnam’s environmental standards and the conditions stipulated in QTSC’s environmental permits.
Thanks to its strict adherence to environmental protection standards, continuous expansion of green spaces, and the adoption of technological solutions, QTSC has achieved ISO 14001:2015 Environmental management system certification and ISO 50001:2018 Energy management system certification.
In alignment with Vietnam’s national goal of achieving net-zero emissions by 2050, QTSC is committed to continuously optimizing resource efficiency, reducing emissions, proactively adopting advanced technologies, and actively contributing to global environmental and climate protection efforts. These commitments form a critical foundation for enhancing the quality of growth and strengthening the sustainable competitiveness of QTSC and Vietnam’s economy.
