QTSC organized a workshop to gather policy feedback for advancing science-technology, innovation, and digital transformation

On the afternoon of May 7, 2025, QTSC organized a workshop titled "Collecting policy feedback and recommendations to effectively implement Resolution 57-NQ/TW and Plan 1413/KH-UBND of the HCMC People's Committee in executing Action Program No. 63-CTrHĐ/TU on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation, and digital transformation."

Attendees included Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hai – Chairman of QTSC, Mr. Tran Huu Dung – CEO of QTSC, and representatives from 15 enterprises, investors, and educational institutions operating within the area, such as TMA Solutions, IMT, SaigonTel, The Sentry, Soihub, FPT Polytechnic College, Hoa Sen College, etc.

The workshop aimed to provide updates on newly issued mechanisms and policies by the HCMC People’s Council and People’s Committee under Plan 1413/KH-UBND, which operationalize Action Program 63-CTrHĐ/TU (dated February 27, 2025) of the HCMC Party Committee, implementing Resolution 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo. It also offered QTSC a valuable opportunity to gather feedback from the on-site business community to help address existing challenges and support the effective implementation of national strategies in science, innovation, and digital transformation.

In his opening remarks, Mr. Tran Huu Dung – CEO of QTSC, emphasized the essential role of businesses in driving innovation. He noted that practical insights from IT enterprises would make meaningful contributions to policy refinement and the broader development of QTSC.

Mr. Phan Phuong Tung – Director of DXCenter - followed with a presentation on the current policy landscape, upcoming breakthrough policy directions, and recommendations regarding tax incentives and financial support for technology enterprises, startups, innovation-focused organizations. The mechanisms and policies discussed during the workshop represent a key breakthrough in HCMC’s strategy for promoting science and technology development, innovation, and digital transformation.

The discussion session featured diverse perspectives on strengthening public-private partnerships, improving access to capital, infrastructure, and startup ecosystems, as well as strategic proposals to promote green economy, digital economy, and circular economy. Participants also discussed the need for better protection policies for innovative products and technological initiatives.
