On the afternoon of August 13, 2025, QTSC welcomed a delegation of over 30 final-year students majoring in Semiconductor Industry from Kyungil University (KIU), Korea, for a visit and study tour. This was part of the university’s bootcamp program.
During the meeting, QTSC representatives presented an overview of the park, its innovative ecosystem, the community of domestic and international IT enterprises, as well as IT workforce training institutions operating on site. They also shared the vision of developing QTSC into a green, smart technology hub, pioneering digital transformation and innovation activities in Ho Chi Minh City.
The KIU delegation introduced the university’s history and scale of operations. Established in 1963, by 2023 the university had 6,801 undergraduate students and 346 graduate students. Notably, KIU is currently implementing a graduate-level Semiconductor Program in collaboration with enterprises, along with the “Semiconductor Training Camp” project aimed at cultivating high-quality human resources.
KIU representatives expressed their hope that this second visit of students and faculty members to Ho Chi Minh City would mark a new starting point, contributing to the promotion of bilateral cooperation between the two countries. The university also showed interest in opportunities to connect and exchange with institutions and enterprises within QTSC, as well as exploring internship programs for international students.
Earlier, the delegation also visited and worked with TMA Solutions – one of the six largest IT enterprises operating in QTSC. This visit not only provided KIU students with deeper insights into Vietnam’s technology environment but also contributed to strengthening QTSC’s collaboration with international educational institutions. It aligns with the shared goal of developing high-quality human resources for the IT industry while enhancing the value of QTSC’s growing digital talent ecosystem.
