On 29 June 2018, a delegation from Saint-Petersburg, Russia visited and worked at Quang Trung Software City (QTSC).

With 24 members, the delegation had a working trip to Ho Chi Minh City from June 26 to July 01 with the aim to visit and meet the leaders of city and its outstanding enterprises.

Leading the delegation was Mr. Katanandov Sergey Leonidovich - Special Envoy of the Governor of Saint-Petersburg City in charge of development and cooperation with the Russian Federation. The delegation also had city’s leaders in the fields of health, education, construction, foreign relations, information and communications, policy project,… and enterprises operating in Saint–Petersburg.

Welcoming the delegation was Mr. Hoang Minh Tri, Deputy CEO of QTSC. In the meeting, QTSC introduced the establishment and development process, as well as its achievements in the past 17 years to the delegation. Also, QTSC absolutely welcomed IT enterprises of Russia to cooperate and invest in the park, Tri said.

Following that, Igor Bagaev – Program Manager of DWDM Solutions said that they desired to seek partners in business, research and development products in network security, information encryption. Some enterprises having available applications and solutions also wanted to find out the partners to expand market in Vietnam.

Concluding the meeting, the Saint–Petersburg delegation took a tour around the park.
