Mr. Shugo Nakano, Chief Representative of Jetro Chiba emphasized that Chiba was a province in Tokyo metropolis area with many advantages, for example: it’s 50 kilometers from Chiba to Tokyo with convenient traffic to easily access to the world through Narita airport (36 minutes from Chiba to Narita airport) and Chiba was Japan's second largest seaport of commerce. It’s very favorable for Vietnamese companies to set up their offices in Chiba with reasons as easily access to the huge market - Tokyo metropolis area with the total population of 36 million (included 6.22 million of Chiba’s population); lower business costs (compared to Tokyo); good support policy for foreign companies through the Chiba Investment Support Center (CISC) and the Foreign Affiliation Start-up Center (FASuC). Following that, Mr. Tran Phuc Hong – Vice president of VNITO Alliance, Vice president of TMA Solutions had a brief introduction about VNITO Alliance. VNITO Alliance and QTSC annually co-organized delegations from Vietnam to Japan to seek business cooperation partners, said Hong. There were hundreds of Vietnamese enterprises to promote investment in Japan since 2015. Working with the Chiba delegation, he hoped that the VNITO Alliance’s upcoming business trip to Japan in May 2018 would receive enthusiastic support from Jetro Chiba.
