HCMC – Quang Trung Software City Development Company (QTSC) and the Saigon Times Foundation (STF) have jointly launched the “Dream Color” program, which will start from June 1, 2022 to June 1, 2023, offering participants chances to find talent for painting and receive support to nurture the dream of becoming artists.

Sketching dreams.

In the first three months, STF and fine arts teachers of Nha My Drawing Class – the first class of the program – will select 50 paintings (of the total of over 350 paintings) of the 4-6 and 7-10 age groups in accordance with basic criteria: idea, arrangement and aptitude for painting.

Young painters will express their “dream color” through their paintings drawn in line with such topics as learning, playing, entertaining, friends, school and family.

Accordingly, to encourage the aptitude and passion for painting in children and to create favorable conditions for those in need, QTSC will sponsor the cost of materials for young painters whose paintings are selected.

Commenting on the program, Ho Thi Hoang My, a fine arts teacher, said: “It is a small but humane program. The program helps bolster the esthetic affection in children and the hope to find future artistic talents. Especially, drawing will bring joy to them.”

Message of compassion.

STF hopes the “Dream Color” program will convey the message of compassion and anticipation for thriving in life.
