The delegation of Hau Giang province learned about QTSC model
On the afternoon of February 21st, 2024, a provincial leadership delegation of Hau Giang, led by Mr. Le Thanh Tam - Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Communications, visited and studied the operating model of the Quality Tech Solution Complex (QTSC).
The purpose of the meeting was to exchange experiences in the construction and management of QTSC, thus proposing suitable plans for designing and constructing the Hau Giang Digital Technology Park. It includes investment projects such as office buildings, data center, and a portion of technical infrastructure (rainwater drainage system, wastewater collection system, wastewater treatment station, clean water supply system, greenery, etc.).
QTSC, with 23 years of experience in managing and operating, it has been evaluated by the Ministry of Information and Communications as the largest and most successful concentrated information technology park in Vietnam. With the knowledge and practical experience accumulated during its construction, management, and development, QTSC representative guided the delegation to visit and learn about the operation methods at the data center, environmental monitoring station, wastewater monitoring station, etc.
In particular, QTSC data center is built according to the international standard TIA942 level 3, ensuring information security and service quality for clients; the environmental monitoring station is where environmental indicators for the entire area such as air, wastewater, tap water, groundwater, etc., are connected and monitored; the wastewater monitoring station operates systems for treating and managing the quality of wastewater, ensuring that wastewater within QTSC is treated before being discharged into the environment, aiming to meet the class A standards according to QCVN 14:2008, and column B1 QCVN 08:2008 to utilize treated wastewater for irrigation throughout the area.
With an area of over 28 hectares, the Hau Giang Digital Technology Park is located in Vi Tan commune, Vi Thanh city. Now, there are 8 domestic and foreign enterprises invested in the park. The Hau Giang Digital Technology Park is an attractive destination for enterprises and investors in the ICT field. Additionally, it also will be a potential member to participate in the Software Park Chain in the coming time.
