In the morning of October 18, a delegation from Quang Ninh province paid a working visit to Quality Tech Solution Complex (QTSC) in order to learn about digital transformation activities building Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) to become a smart city.

Leading the delegation was Ms. Bui Thuy Phuong, Member of the Executive Board of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Organizing Board of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Provincial Department of Home Affairs, Director of the Nguyen Van Cu Official Training School.

Welcoming the delegation were Mr. Le Quoc Cuong - Deputy Director of HCMC Department of Information and Communications, Mr. Tran Hoang Nam - Director of QTSC Telecom Center, Mr. Phan Phuong Tung - Director of HCMC Digital Transformation Consulting and Support Center (DXCenter), Mr. Do Thanh Hai - Deputy Director of HCMC Information Security Service JSC (HISSC).

According to the working program, the delegation was shared about topics such as: Digital transformation to build HCMC being a smart city, Shared digital map of HCMC (pilot version), HCMC Open data portal, HCMC Local Government Service Platform (HCM LGSP) – phase 1.

Mr. Le Quoc Cuong - Deputy Director of HCMC Department of Information and Communications presented the topic of Digital transformation to build HCMC being a smart city.

After the presentations, the delegation raised many questions to exchange such as: data strategy roadmap and architecture of HCMC, the process of integrating and exploiting industrial data, the city’s view on digital transformation and how to implement effective policies and procedures, etc. Besides, the delegation desired that the city would share more practical experiences in the implementation process.

At the end of the working trip, the delegation visited the information security center of HCMC located at HISSC, the city's data center, shared data warehouse, as well as listened to the introduction of application solutions at QTSC Telecom Center.
