On the morning of November 13, 2025, QTSC’s leadership welcomed representatives from Ultrasil LLC (Ultrasil) for a working session to introduce the digital technology ecosystem at the park. The meeting aimed to reaffirm strategic cooperation and investment opportunities, as well as discuss orientations for implementing research and development (R&D) activities in the semiconductor sector in Ho Chi Minh City.
Ultrasil is a California-based company with extensive experience in manufacturing silicon wafers and SOI wafers. The company is currently exploring opportunities to expand its operations in Vietnam, aiming to advance core-technology research projects and support semiconductor workforce development.
During the working session, QTSC and Ultrasil discussed the development potential of Vietnam’s semiconductor industry, R&D infrastructure needs, investment models, and strategic collaboration opportunities. On this occasion, the two sides signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) outlining key areas of cooperation, including supporting the implementation of R&D projects, developing and applying core technologies to create semiconductor products, connecting partners within the technology ecosystem, strengthening semiconductor workforce development and specialized training programs…
As the developer and operator of the park, the first and most successful concentrated digital technology hub in Vietnam, QTSC was established to support the growth of digital and high-tech industries and to create a favorable environment for technology enterprises. With its vision of becoming a “Quality Tech Solution Complex,” the company is intensifying efforts to attract investment in core technology R&D, particularly in the semiconductors sector.
The collaboration with Ultrasil aligns closely with QTSC’s strategic development orientation and contributes to realizing the goals of the Politburo’s Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW on “Breakthrough development in science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation,” which identifies semiconductors as one of the key strategic technologies.
Ultrasil’s interest and cooperation further affirm the attractiveness of the QTSC ecosystem in advancing high-tech industries. This visit and MoU signing are expected to open significant opportunities, enhance R&D capacity, support semiconductor workforce development, build a stronger research and innovation ecosystem, and attract more high-tech enterprises to invest in Ho Chi Minh City.
