On April 2, 2026, QTSC welcomed a delegation from the Fourth Industrial Revolution in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC C4IR) for a working visit, operational insights exchange, and discussions on future cooperation directions.
The delegation was led by Mr. Le Truong Duy, Director General and Vice Chairman of Board of Management of HCMC C4IR. Welcoming the delegation were Mr. Tran Huu Dung, CEO of QTSC, along with representatives from relevant departments and centers.
HCMC C4IR is the result of a collaborative initiative between the Government of Vietnam and the World Economic Forum (WEF) and is an official member of the global network of Centers of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR Network) established by the WEF. With a mission to encourage new drivers of growth, the Center aims to support both Ho Chi Minh City and the nation in achieving sustainable development in the era of digital transformation and innovation, placing technology at the core amid the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
During the working session, both sides discussed various potential areas of cooperation, including smart manufacturing, smart agriculture, semiconductor chip technology, the development of research and application zones for emerging technologies, high-performance computing centers, as well as training and development of high-quality human resources.
At the meeting, Mr. Tran Huu Dung shared that the strategic orientations of HCMC C4IR align closely with the development strategy of QTSC - a pioneering concentrated digital technology park in Vietnam. QTSC possesses strong capabilities in areas such as digital infrastructure, data centers, cybersecurity, Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI)… along with a diverse ecosystem of enterprises and partners capable of delivering products and services to support collaboration in advanced technology sectors.
QTSC is also shaping an innovative-driven environment, building a digital technology ecosystem, developing shared data repositories, and collaborating on core data platform development. At the same time, strengthening connections with universities and research institutes to train human resources aligned with real-world demands of businesses and the city remains a key priority.
Notably, proposals for establishing research and development zones were considered highly suitable for QTSC’s conditions and strategic orientation. With its green, clean environment, modern technological infrastructure, existing data center facilities, and a dynamic business community, QTSC aspires to become an attractive destination for international investors, research organizations, universities and institutes to establish R&D operations in the near future.
At the end of the meeting, QTSC and HCMC C4IR agreed to continue close coordination to further develop their cooperation initiatives and move towards implementing appropriate projects, contributing to fostering innovation and advancing the digital economy of Ho Chi Minh City and Vietnam as a whole.
