Welcoming the Moscow delegation to visit QTSC

On the morning of April 13, a delegation of Moscow, Russia paid a working visit to Quang Trung Software City (QTSC) with the aim to learn about QTSC and seek cooperation opportunities between the two parties.

Leading the delegation were Mr. Timur Sadykov – Russian Consul General in HCMC, Mr. Viacheslav Manuylov – Deputy Head of the Department for External Economic and International Relations of Moscow. Welcoming the delegation was Mr. Lam Nguyen Hai Long – CEO of QTSC.

At the beginning of the working session, the delegation listened to an overview of the operation model as well as the future development orientation of QTSC. Accordingly, established in 2001, QTSC has now attracted 146 ICT companies including 6 large-sized companies with over 1,000 employees. More than 650 IT products, services and solutions have been deployed and gone to market. With great efforts and contributions, QTSC has truly become a tech hub for more than 21,000 people studying and working regularly.

In order to learn more about the potential for growth and seek cooperation opportunities at QTSC, the delegation's representative raised many questions related to the government's data center system, cyber security, networking events, and so on.

On this occasion, QTSC also shared about the current orientation that QTSC has no longer been a Software City but instead of a Quality Tech Solution Complex with the ambition of developing into a leading Science City in the region, aiming to affirm QTSC’s goal to become a tech hub providing high quality technology solutions, bringing the most useful values to society, as well as a place to actively seek for "Make in Vietnam" technology products/services/solutions.

At the end of the meeting, the delegation visited around QTSC to better understand its operating model.
